Tetrix XP is a great remake of the popular and classic Tetris but in 3D. The game features basically the same game mechanics, but with the addition of awesome 3D graphics plus a few new features that make it even more addictive.
Tetris XP offers four different game modes to play: Classic, Advanced, Special, and Crazy. All of them are equally fun but feature a different challenge. The classic mode is the well-known gameplay, with a certain number of points to reach, to play more relaxed. What the other game modes add, is a higher challenge and more excitement, by giving you a time limit of a few seconds to reach a goal score.
The game interface is really appealing and the pieces in 3D are as colorful and attractive as in the original version. Besides, the registered version of Tetrix XP lets you use your images to decorate the background.
The demo version of Tetrix can be tried out fifty times, and with many limitations, like access to only two game modes, and other restrictions. Another shortcoming of this version is that there is no window mode. Despite all this, Tetrix XP is a game that deserves a try.
